In the year marking nearly half a century of history, André Opticas is preparing to take the next step in its evolution. Fifteen years after opening its iconic flagship store on Avenida da Liberdade, Portugal’s most exclusive luxury eyewear brand announces a strategic transition that promises to redefine the eyewear experience on both the national and international stage.
Set for 4th July, the current space at number 136 Avenida da Liberdade will close its doors, moving operations to an exclusive Pop-Up Store at 36B on the same avenue. This store will serve as a bridge and an invitation whilst the final project for the new, revolutionary flagship store is completed, with its opening scheduled for November this year.
In this space, clients will continue to enjoy all the services of excellence that define the brand, maintaining personalised access to the portfolio of labels they know so well.

Celebrating 45 years means honouring the past with our eyes set on tomorrow. The opening of this Pop-Up Store at number 36B comes as the first step of a new era, allowing our clients to start getting used to our new location on Avenida da Liberdade right away. Through this temporary space, we ensure the continuity of our usual service of excellence, whilst preparing the reveal of our grand store in November. This future project will undoubtedly mark a new milestone in the city of Lisbon and in the history of André Opticas — a concept fully aligned with our current positioning, where major international brands come together with the most exclusive independent labels. It will be there that we unveil a new bespoke atelier, modelled after our prestigious space in Chiado on Rua Serpa Pinto, raising the customisation experience to an even higher level.
