Yes. André Opticas has been an authorized Akoni retailer since 2021, and every frame is supplied through the brand's official distribution. Akoni frames are made in Japan and Italy, and each pair arrives in its original Akoni packaging with its case. Buying from an authorized retailer is also what gives you the manufacturer's warranty and access to our after-sales service in Lisbon.

Prescription lenses are not fitted to online orders: optical glazing is completed in person at our Lisbon boutiques and atelier.

Most Akoni frames at André Opticas are priced between €600 and €750, with optical frames mostly between €550 and €700 and sunglasses between €650 and €750. The top Cosmo editions, including the Cosmo Horn Edition, reach around €2,600 to €2,740. Prices vary by model, line and material, and each product page shows the current price. Yes. Any Akoni optical frame can be fitted with prescription lenses at our Lisbon boutiques and atelier, using the market's leading lens brands. Our optical specialists complete the glazing in person, with single vision, progressive or photochromic lenses, not as part of an online order.

Yes. André Opticas ships Akoni worldwide using secure, tracked delivery. Orders are dispatched from Lisbon within 1–3 business days. Shipping is free within Portugal; international shipping is calculated at checkout. Orders shipped outside the European Union may be subject to customs duties, import taxes and other local charges, which are the sole responsibility of the customer.

Akoni purchases can be returned within 14 days, in line with Portuguese consumer law, provided the frame is unworn and returned in its original condition with all packaging and accessories. Returns are free within Portugal; international return costs are the customer's responsibility unless the item is faulty.

The Akoni frames we carry are made in Japan and Italy. Most are in acetate, with titanium and acetate-and-titanium models, and a few pieces that combine metal with horn or wood, such as the Cosmo Horn Edition. Each product page lists the material for that specific reference.

Many Akoni product pages list lens width, bridge width and temple length in millimetres. The Europa optical frame, for example, measures 50-21-142. The simplest check is to compare those numbers against a pair you already wear comfortably.
