Claudia Carlotti was an amazing designer from the 1970’s who created maximalist and stupendously expensive eyewear, and a pioneer on the use of precious stones, intricate hand-painted and gold plating details, leather, mother of pearl, double layers of acetate and double rims for single lenses or a full shield in the same frame. Her designs and color combinations were way ahead of her time and Claudia Carlotti vintage sunglasses were strongly influenced by the spirit of old school hip hop style mixed with the French classic statement. Claudia Carlotti vintage sunglasses and frames are one of the rarest and most mysterious brands of all times and her design remain collectible and notoriously hard to find.
